I played Angry Birds so fucking much as a child that I spent countless hours in front of the iPod screen. While it was all in good fun, the game's addictive nature may have left its mark on my brain.

Probably the pinnacle of iOS gaming. Still great for wasting time at my office job. For $2 just buy classic, you won't regret it.

I sympathise a lot with Angry Birds because its a truly historic game that was a pioneer in establishing "mobile games" as a unique medium: ultra casual experiences with one-touch controls that you can play forever - and I respect it a lot for that because mobile gaming I think is unfairly discriminated against by the gaming hegemony.
The real problem is that the game just ages terribly. I don't feel like I have much mechanical control over the birds and I'm just rolling for permutations to get those extremely arbitrary and tedious 3-stars. The level design takes a "kitchen sink" approach by packaging hundreds of them with a fresh coat of paint to divide them into "worlds" that aren't distinct at all and just make your progress seem futile.
It excels in art direction and creating an identity (it literally spawned a multimedia million dollar franchise) but 14 years later, its best to just sit on your homescreen as a digital stamp like old and shitty NES games that collectors accumulate but never play. because old stuff is usually shit. but that doesn't mean they weren't important.
Still, every gamer should at least try this snippet of history. thankfully Rovio relisted it on modern app stores for 99 cents and its untainted by ads, freemium mechanics or bloatware. I appreciate that.

Angry birds e maravilhosamente chato e sem graça, no inicio eu me diverti ate porem quanto mais eu vou avançando mais chato vai ficando, e ele não fica chato por ficar mais dificil, ele e muito sem sal sabe, tem uma hora que só não tem mais a diversão.
O jogo possui varias fases e cada uma delas possui alguma tema especifico como praia, minas, cidades e ate algumas possuindo coisas unicas como a fase aonde o Red ganha um poder no qual você clica e ele vai em direção ao local designado, as fases em si não são de todo o mal e algumas são bem criativas nas formas de se passar e isso pelo menos diverte.
O jogo possui varios tipos de passaros para você usar como o Red que e o passaro mais simples, o Chuck que e o passaro que acelera no ar e ganha mais impacto, o Bomb que explode e ele e meu favorito, os azuis Jay, Jake e Jim que são um so passaro que quando apertado na tela eles viram 3, tem a Matilda que lança um ovão explosivo, o Hal que e um boomerang e ele tambem e meu favorito, tem varios outros passaros para a gente usar e eles tambem são legais de se usar.
Agora o que realmente estraga o jogo e a sua falta de MUSICA NAS FASES "ah mas o jogo tem musica", SIM! O JOGO TEM MUSICA MAS ELA SO TOCA NO MENU E QUANDO VOCÊ VAI JOGAR E UM SILENCIO MATADOR QUE FAZ A GAMEPLAY FICAR SEM GRAÇA NENHUMA, serio eu joguei o jogo inteiro e não teve uma unica musica alem do menu, seria interessante se as fases tivessem uma musica tema pelo menos 1 que ficasse em loop por 1 minuto.
Angry birds realmente não e um jogo ruim mas eu diria que ele não foi feito para você jogar direto ou falar "ei porque eu não pego angrys para zerar?" sabe, ele e mais um jogo aonde você enquanto esta no banheiro fazendo suas necessidades ou no ponto de onibus esperando o busão, você ate pode falar "mas se ele não tem musica e só você por uma musica que goste enquanto joga" e eu fiz isso pode acreditar e o jogo infelizmente não melhora pois ele e muito sem sal, falar 100% que não da para se divertir no jogo seria mentira pois teve momentos nos quais eu me divertir bastante e ate rindo de algumas coisas que aconteciam, um bom jogo que infelizmente e sem sal e perde a graça muito rapido.
