Life is Strange is an absolute masterpiece, and although slight pacing issues exist, it was the only time that a game without much gameplay or action lured me into its world so quickly and hard. The relaxing, but continuously tenser athmosphere, the values that are discussed and portrayed in a great artstyle make up a story that is truly a once in a lifetime moment. The bond between Max and Chloe, their complicated yet believable backstories, the effect that, although reversable, your choices matter in this world... These factors shape up one of my favourite pieces of media in general. T
I had doubts before starting it, but I really liked the story. I think it is the best in the series, without having played True Colors.
It is a typical game that you are left with after a long time thinking about what you played, about its story.

My first ever completed console game.
‘Life is Strange’ is a powerful story, told through gorgeous visual storytelling and well developed characters.
You can absolutely tell it’s a bit dated, but it adds to the charm for the most part.
The last two chapters ‘Dark Room’ and ‘Polarized’ had me quite emotional. It did indeed have its cringe moments, but it felt very authentic to the early 2010s.
‘Life is Strange’ gave me a good platform to figure out different commands on the joystick and the controls were easy, so great for a beginner like me.
Overall a heartbreaking experience that I will cherish.

Life is Strange is a bit cheesy in its overall. If you don't try to enter in the ambiance of the game, then you will have a disastrous experience.
In terms of characters, game doesn't miss . Max & Chloe are so endearing it's contagious, and the more you play and advance the game, the more you get to have feelings and emotions for them. Even with secondary ones, everyone has something believable, that makes you feel something for them (but the story is, like I said earlier, cheesy).
In its choice system, Life is Strange is doing good and terribly at the same time. You get to choose a lot of outcomes for different stories in your adventure, but the game has "only" two endings that only depends on your last choice of the game.
Max's power is cool, but contains a lot of paradoxes with it that are just unexplained. If you don't mind these like I did in my first playthrough, your experience will be great.
Soundtrack is, in my opinion, one of the best thing that Life is Strange has to offer, it completely matches with Max and the game's mood globally.
Anyway, Life is Strange is a classic in multiple-choices genre and if you didn't already played the game, you definitely should .
NB : if you can, DON'T play the remastered collection that came out in 2022.

Just completed this game and I loved it SOOOO much. It's one of those few games that helps me re-visit that time where I truly love the game and even forget I'm playing with a game so I don't get to take as many screenshots as I hope.
The game ended in a way I saw something, sadly, because of how this reflected the movie, The Butterfly Effect. However, tat still wasn't what I ended up with in the end and it was still quite a twist. I also love how choices in this game appear to alter the game more than they do with most TellTale Games' series. Even the small choices all add up and lead to things that can bite you in the ass both on the good and bad in both minor and major ways.
The characters on it are very interesting and deep. They all feel like real people and you want to feel for them, but sometimes you have to make the hard decision to hopefully make someone else softened up towards you. The ability to reload a chapter for collectables is interesting, but it appears to lock you into that chapter which is a real pain, especially if you're a completionist like myself, wanting to make certain you have ALL the optional photos.
I highly recommend this for any fan of episodic games, with a interesting twist of time manipulation to both solve situations and come up with new dialog options.
