I remember getting hours of entertainment out of the pizza hut demo disc that contained this game. I think it had two stages and maybe four characters, but that didn’t stop me

Despite it being known as that bad Star Wars PS1 fighter that lead Capcom to develop their own sci-fi fighter, due to licensing, this is not that bad. Does seem like LucasArts studied up on the fighting games around the time, clearly Tekken-inspired with the title and original character Arden Lyn literally rocking an iron fist. While it can't grapple with the best at the time, getting a hold of the movelist did open my eyes, it's kinda fun and playable even. The lack of FMV endings is disappointing, but John Williams' score is everywhere in this and the Star Wars universe is represented in an aesthetically pleasing way that the PS1 uniquely provides. We also had this game when I was younger, so that does play a part in my enjoyment.

Edit: Ok, apparently there's endings in this, very vague information online about how to get them though. I played it on easy so that might have been why I didn't get one on my playthrough?

Its like a Christmas Tree with no gifts under it on Christmas Day. Like, why even put the tree up if you're not going to put gifts under it? If you ain't got money, don't celebrate a corporate money grubbing holiday.

I actually saw this at a game shop week before last and thought hard for a couple minutes. Ultimately decided no, the nostalgic trash experience would not be worth $10, and went for a chicken dinner instead.

One of the worst fighting games I've played so far

I won't say this is a great fighting game ... but it's better than its reputation.
Movement and controls are indeed underwhelming, but graphically it's kinda okay and at least it has the original score. All in all, despite very flawed balancing, I had fun playing it with the different characters.

I don't know what they were thinking. This is not good and makes no sense. Not that the combat doesn't make sense, but like Luke can straight up use his light saber.

Star Wars fighting games are an amazing idea, but what is this? The Story is that Darth Vader finds a woman called Arden Lyn, who is a master of an old martial art known as Teras Kasi, (I don't know how to type the above a thing on a keyboard) to stop Luke and his friends, this is a good idea for a fighting game's plot, except for the fact that if Arden is the only user of Teras Kasi, then why are her fighting moves the same as the others? The Voices suck, don't sounds like they care. The Graphics are bad, they may have been decent in 1997, but they are garbage now. The Gameplay has you play as star wars characters, and fight each other, despite the easy to understand idea of the game, the controls are awful, they don't always register, they are slow to attack, the AI is so back you can trick them to falling off the pit, characters can use weapons against ones that don't, and we are supposed to think the unarmed person can win, certain players are too tough to beat even with help, and because everyone's moves feel the same, playing as Arden is pointless. The Music is the same as the movies, nothing else needs to be said, that's great. Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi solely ruined the chances of a Star Wars fighting game from ever being released, except as an option in the Revenge of the Sith videogame.
