I've been playing this with friends and my god it's complicated but fun. Despite having completed the games main goal and getting the ending screen I honestly feel like I barely scratched the surface, there's so many layers here what with efficiency options, ideas for bases you can try etc.
If you enjoy logistic games you'll get on great with this I think.

In concept, I should like a game focused around building up a factory to build more and more complex components. Making my factory efficient is fun at first, but something about the middle product of science often being a 'colored potion bottle' makes it feel a bit abstract at a point. I also stop enjoying it when the scale of the factory gets too big and you need to start using bots to manage pieces.
A game about building and designing factories marred by the fact that you always build the same factory: the same resources as inputs going into the same assemblers with the same outputs will always inevitably mean that you are building essentially the same thing, robbing the player of their in-game purpose as an architect.
It still has the best tutorial of any video game ever made, though.

Factorio is untouchable in it's area, while there have come to be a few games working in this subgenre like Satisfactory they simple do not have the staying power or impressiveness that Wube brought and continues to bring to the table. The ethos of the developers shows and shines in their work, the way they embrace the modding community is amazing and the vanilla game along can easily give you thousands of hours of actual fun, if only I could figure out trains (I'm dumb).
I do recommend before trying modded like angelbobs you take a look at what order you should consider mods as some are significantly more complicated than others.
