I forget everything about this game tbh

eu sei que tem seus defeitos mas ainda guardo com carinho

i remember playing this game a week before ps4 spider-man got ported to pc. istg this shit made me want to never touch a spider-man game ever again 😭😭

It's fine, I guess this was technically the first arkham game I played...

It's nothing special, the gameplay can be fun at times. I remember spending a lot of time just reading the bonus comics as a kid and always resetting my 360's clock so I could get the birthday hat suit.

What an old but good game. Really brings up the memories since I've tried it quite a while ago. Outdated for sure and hard to get a copy of it. Payed more than today's new game prices. Would love to play the second one but it's even more rare to get a steam key.
The new spider man games are surely more robust and polished but can't say I didn't enjoy the plot that was in the movie whatsoever.

Played it at my friend’s house. I remember thinking it was ok. I like how this is the only Spider-Man game where his suit actually gets ripped and torn when you take damage. It’s also cool that the game takes place after the events of the movie, so it doesn’t feel like it’s just copying the plot of the movie. And it’s awesome how he pulls himself up with webs as he’s running up walls. Little touches like that make this game memorable, but I think the rest of the gameplay and content was pretty standard.

Story was okay, swinging was meh, combat was very fun. Underrated imo.

A passable movie tie in game with some pretty good web-swinging mechanics, The Amazing Spider-Man gives hope to anyone wanting a decent video game based on a movie. I have to give props to the "web zip" system- being able to slow down time and tell Spider-Man EXACTLY where you want to go feels so smooth and makes swinging around the city feel more fluid. Though the game itself is a bit short and lacking of content overall, it still scratches that spider bite itch.

One of the best Spider-Man games with the legendary Spider-Man 2 on PS2.

2.75 / 5.
Not the worst game in the world, and truthfully, I thought I'd despise this game so there's that.
The story in here is pretty bland, as well as the dialogue, web swinging and pretty much everything bar the combat, which is actually incredible and supremely fun.
Will I ever replay it? No. But did I have a decent enough time playing it? Absolutely.

We had rented this game as well for two big reasons. One it’s Spider-Man, my favorite superhero, and two, one of my classmates that I hated got the game and was playing it so I had to play it as well so I didn’t look poor. We had like 5 games at the time but this was a lot of fun. Don’t think I’ll ever play it again as it’s been delisted and surely doesn’t compare to the PS4 one but I had a lot of fun that week I played it

Pretty good Spider-Man adventure but inferior to the Insomniac counterpart. Still worth checking out.

O balançar das teias é bonito, mas vai na nuvem essa merda. O combate é maçante e os desafios são esquecíveis. Não existe expressão facial. A parte Stealth é bem feita.

eu sei que to deixando nostalgia me levar aqui mas eu gosto demais

O jogo de 2018 estragou os jogos anteriores por ser simplesmente muito superior

by many is a mediocre game, but by me is a very nostalgic game, i know what that have a very problems, as a web swing at the sky, between others, but i very like this game.

solid gameplay. weird story. doesnt really fit with the movie but still pretty fun.

The AMAZING Spiderman!

This game was so cool with its swinging. I loved it.
There are some flaws in this game. But that didn't stop me from enjoying it.

Some good ideas but ultimately bland game

A surprisingly good Spider-Man game that goes for a continuation of the movie rather than an adaptation. A good story, very fun combat, and a large city that's fun to swing around in.

I quite love this one, the content and the story and how it acts as a sequel to TASM1 while taking some things to the further extent, like giant Spider Slayers, but some of the console exclusivity is weird to me, why does PC only get the Black Raimi suit? I used the fuck out of it regardless

I have yet to play the DLCs, maybe someday

Actually a lot better than I thought it would be. Of course, swinging is really bad, but everything else is actually a lot of fun. Combat is literally copied from Arkham games and it just works and is a lot of fun. Story is not the most interesting one on the earth, but at the very least it tries to be original by being a sequel to the movie. Presentation is mostly good, I actually like the atmosphere. I did not have any problems in terms of level design apart from the last Spider Slayer boss but that was a minor inconvinience. I would have gave this game a 3.5/5 if its PC port was working properly. Funnily enough, I think I would rather play this game than Ultimate Spider-Man.

Although I played it on PC I had to emulate it because the actual pc version ran like garbage on my pc even though I can play games from 2023 like RE4, BG3 at over 60fps... It is a fun game, the story is ok, the gameplay is also fine, it's repetitive but it gets the job done. The giant robot battles always feel cool, but as every boss in this game they're super easy to beat. The swinging is meh, side activities become a bit dull after a while. The extras are a welcome addition since they provide more info about the game's characters and you can read a couple of comics! That is very cool! Although very far from being an amazing game, it's still a fun but quite-flawed Spider-Man game.
