4th playthrough, the others being on NES and GBA. The party creation and considering all the different party compositions is the most compelling part of the game. Everything after falls off. The combat, especially in the newer releases, is simply too easy. Auto battle with just basic attacks will find you defeating enemies in 1-2 attacks. For large groups, use your black or red mage to cast a spell that hits all enemies. The Chaos fight is also a little too difficult in comparison to everything before it. As long as you have a white mage it's easy but if you don't, it might be necessary to turn up the exp gain to X4 to grind levels at the end for a few minutes until you can win the fight. As for new additions, the new arranged music is a great addition and sounded amazing. The prior mentioned auto battle and exp gain multipliers were also nice. The art gallery also puts into perspective how grand of a world they were thinking of while making this. It's a simple game, but there is a strong ambition and sense of creativity.
