All I remember about this game was that there was a skateboarding minigame and two tricks were called "lemon lime" and "lime lemon" depending on the direction of your rotation

The first playthrough is incredible, but the cracks begin to show shortly after, especially in Master Mode.

Exploration always leads to either a shrine, a Korok, or a chest that rarely has armor. Usually the chest just contains expendables. The side quest rewards are almost all expendables that are not even worth it.

Combat is a waste of time unless the numbers on the weapons the enemies are holding are bigger than yours. Why would you waste durability otherwise fighting enemies that just drop more weapons? Items such as the Blizzard Rod and features such as stealth and Lynel mounting trivialize the durability system. The cooking system is flawed mainly due to how yellow hearts work. You can get full heals and ignore the entire thing.

The dungeons are among the worst in the series. The Divine Beasts are a great concept, but they function like larger shrines more than full on dungeons. The fact that you can do them in any order makes the difficulty curve bizarre.

Hyrule Castle is a highlight of the game, and what Breath of the Wild could have been. A multitude of solutions exist for traversal and there are actually cool secrets inside.

Final score: 200 hours/10
