I really love how you can go to any interesting location you see in the distance. Lothric’s layout was carefully created and I love it. It’s very linear, yeah, but the illusion of walking through that world and then look back or up and see where you’ve been is amazing. Everything feels as one big map and not a series of levels connected by long corridors and elevators.

I really wish this game had had a good narrative, or even a decent one. Anyways, it’s still one of the most impressive things that has ever come out of the medium.
