it has its charms but i think it gets ruined by the gameplay being intolerable 90% of the time

story doesnt scream anything special, and some of the chapters drag on far longer than necessary

personally i had difficulty navigating the worlds and getting through a lot of the more out-there environments but tbf im pretty stupid so this wont be an issue for most people playing

overall it's okay but not something to write home about

came into this having heard it was an incredible masterpiece and the pinnacle of games

it's not

the story feels bland and generic, although i will admit the characters and their relationships are touching at times. the world is pretty neat too but i sort of wish there was more backstory in some of the locations and the factions you find stuck in them. the gameplay feels like a worse resident evil and actually the whole thing just feels like a worse resident evil please just play resident evil instead
