It was fairly fun. The music slaps and the simple concepts has some really fun levels. The bosses were hit or miss for me and there was some difficultly balancing in the air at times, but all in all it's decent and it's interesting seeing where Kirby started.

Played about 12 matches on each stages playing someone different each time. Link I played best as and Donkey Kong I played worst as. It was pretty solid. Stages and music are overall good and the characters are fun to play as, but some of the visuals on the stages were iffy and at times the lag was a bit much. 7.7/10

Played on the Nintendo Switch. Got gold on the first three cups and silver on the fourth which is good enough for me as far as a win condition goes.

It's solid and I certainly respect it for laying the ground work for one of the biggest racing franchises of all time. That said though, it only has like maybe 4 great tracks and the rest are either kind of good or just okay. Some of the music is really fun and intense but others are kind of repetitive and annoying. The sound design can also be grating at times. It's certainly good but it doesn't get anywhere past that and it may not be one I am in a rush to revisit. 7.0/10

Very ambitious honestly and very fun. Took me like hours to beat it even with the invisibility cheat. Oh to be good at video games one day.

I enjoyed what I played but I was hoping it would be more fun. It does get tedious at times but the humor and concept are neat. Maybe I'll pick it back up in the future who knows but for now I'll say it's decent.

2004

Finally finished the Trilogy. Honestly this was the weakest of the bunch to me easily the story is pretty ehh comparatively but I did like a good chunk of levels and the driving stuff was pretty fun, and I did like the music a good bit. The game peaked by the end and did end on a good high note.

Finished up Jak II and it's a very fun time. I do think I prefer the first as I felt this second game kind of frustrating at time and it feels a bit more padded, but I liked it.

The first game finished of 2024. Very fun game. The Villains could have had more presence but the world's are nice and the missions are interesting.

Another childhood game of mine I wanted to replay. I put it on easy and eventually gave up because there was a map I had to fight matis dude and robot monkey and let me tell you I failed about ten times. The helicopters from the government only attack you, and the two monsters you face never attack each other, but only you. I had a hard time gaining combos because the creatures would never let you get it in because of the bombardment of attacks. Not to mention they will attack as you are on the ground so it makes blocking impossible because by the time you get back up you are put down again. I like the game and it's monster movie references, but man was I frustrated a good amount of this playthrough. Maybe I'll play it with some friends in the future but even on easy I struggled quite a bit playing by myself. I wish I were better at video games.

It should be noted I played a good amount of this as a kid and I remember liking it so as far as this replay went I enjoyed the time with it, but it froze right before the Gary race and despite cleaning and making sure there wasn't anything funny going on it just kept freezing at the loading point so I'll probably be skipping out on replaying the game in full. It was decent and unique for a SpongeBob game, but the levels were kind of repeating and the enemy types were meh. But racing was fun and the gross designs were definitely eye grabbing.

I beat easy mode a few times to see if I can unlock new characters and maps but it'll take a long time to do that so imma just hang it up here. The game itself is okay. I had some fun beating other monsters up, the variety is there and they look cool with special powers. Some of the side content is whatever. Dodgeball and Basketball are cool to have, but the whole Alien Invasion stuff felt very unnecessary. I could see myself playing a match or two in the future maybe.

6.3/10

Took me a little less than four hours to beat this over three days time. I liked the show as a kid but some of the humor hasn't held up as well, though I appreciate the game having the look and art style of the show. The voice actors do a good job too, although some of the lines throughout the game were overused and ended up being annoying. Eddy's balancing thing was useful sometimes but was hard to control, especially over balancing boards and whatnot. After having played Finding Nemo where all you do is swim in rings generally this game had a bit more variety. I know there are bonus levels too but I couldn't bring myself to do them because I didn't really care for the game overall.

5.3/10

You're literally just going through rings like 80% of this game. It's really boring actually. I did really enjoy and get a laugh at the death animations, but all in all this game just didn't do it for me. Finding Nemo is my all time favorite animated film so I certainly was playing with rose-colored glasses as a kid, but I don't remember it being this bad. If it weren't for the fact that I was trying to capture nostalgia and I was already two-thirds done I probably wouldn't have even bothered finishing this replay.

So much fun wow I started World mode expecting just to play a round or two and ended up beating the whole thing and I am glad I did. That match-up at the very end was so unexpected and weird but in a good way. The additives of power throws is a good touch too. Different locations looked cool, unique music for each game, the characters have names and you're able to plan out positioning and stuff. All really impressive for NES era. The only thing I was iffy on was the reuse of the same models. They are all pretty much exactly the same but with different skins. Regardless I had a blast with this.

7.4/10

I actually played a full 9 Inning game and it was kind of fun. I lost 24-3 though as the fielding in this game is just a fucking nightmare because you can't control the players fielding unless they are throwing. Perhaps I will return to this to get another shot at a win but for now I am fine with dropping it. Overall it's fine. I like baseball so that bias is certainly taking a factor into my rankings but I found it more engaging than most sports games for this time period.
