I've always stated that remakes shouldn't follow the original bar for bar, and 7 remake doesn't. It's clearly its own story with its own place in the universe, making the original still a worth while experience on it's own. Gameplay and exploration can be a slog towards the end, but still a great game.

Anyone who ships Cloud and Aerith has a special place in hell.

Truthfully the best in the trilogy, but I prefer the gta 3 map over vice city.
