Dragon Quest was not included as it isn't entirely clear where Toriyama ends and Bird Studio begins, especially once you go into spin-offs. Dragon Quest XII was included for reasons listed in its notes.
Super Dragon Ball Z was not included due to the "original Toriyama design" story behind the updates to Mecha Freeza being a rumor with no official citation, nor notes in its art books. The same may or may not be true for Majin Ozotto in VRVS.
Xenoverse is included as an extension of Dragon Ball Online, since it continues from his designs and ideas created there.
