Genuinely the worst game I have EVER played. Do not touch this if you want to have a good life

Anyone who likes Harry Potter in the present day and isn't over the age of 35 needs serious jail time. Even if you attempt to separate this from the horror of a woman that is JK Rowling, you are still left with a barren, fetch quest ridden mess, par for the course with AAA gaming.

And of course I also got myself permanently softlocked

Great game, but I am so mixed on this one. The first one is FAR better, Dead Space 2 is much more action oriented in comparison, with its obsessive enemy spawns and new gun and enemy variety. The atmosphere here is still solid, but the scariness wears off so quickly compared to the first game that this just turns into RE4 in space after just a few chapters. The story surrounding the marker gets nonsensical too.

It's definitely a fun time, with one of the greatest intros of all time and a great fakeout ending too, but without a solid final boss like the first game had, and a ridiculous enemy spawn rate it pales in comparison to its predecessor.

Hard to put into words how incredible this game is from start to finish. I had extremely high hopes going in and I was not disappointed in the slightest. I’m not able to put my thoughts here into some longwinded overly pretentious review, so I’ll say this.

If you have the means to play this on PS5, do it. If you have the money to get a PS5 and this game, you will not regret it.

Otherwise if Square can pull their finger out their arse and create an optimised PC port, wait for that and prepare yourself for one of the greatest games of all time.

Spent hours upon hours flying the plane around the island

Who the fuck at Valve verified this for Steam Deck

"Man, I love Mega Man 3!"
quits playing at the first sign of any difficulty

Game released in 2004 and is still better than 99% of shooters released today

On the one hand you have a 20 minute tailing mission, on the other, you have the greatest final boss in any RGG game ever made.

Peak fiction.

Plenty of atmosphere and a decent soundtrack but as an action game it feels weird and the camera angles, while making the game unique, hinder this game somewhat. It's definitely a decent start to the series but it's very weird to play in the modern day.

Also fuck Nightmare, one of the worst bosses I've ever faced in a game

1/10 it’s a stinker, even Vanguard is better
