The average rating for this title on here is absurd. This was absolutely revolutionary for the genre. Plus the music absolutely whips.

I remember people hating plot elements of this and the use of the Batmobile, but not I. I think this is an absolute masterpiece, the only issue really that it might be a bit too damn long in the tooth.

Just as fun as the original and not quite as maddening, with a few more bells and whistles that really set it apart.

Holy shit, I'm so mad I waited as long as I did to play this. I've been a huge Remedy fan for years as it is but wow, this really was an absolute blast and I wish it were more openly appreciated. I'm definitely gonna stop sleeping on Control now.

I remember playing this sight unseen when it came out and nobody had a clue what it was 15 years ago when I was selling video games for a living. I played it on the 360 then and it was one of the funniest, laziest gaming experiences I've ever had, punctuated by a true prize at the end of the game: a rap comprised of all the weird swearing Mickey Rourke does in the game. Now, it's still terrible, but playing the PC version it's somehow even worse. Incredible. If I ever meet Mickey Rourke I'm only going to ask him to call me a goddamn cockbreath commie motherfucker.

A forever classic that will eternally get at least yearly revisits from me.

A fun game that goes beyond the cursed "casual" title to become absolutely brutal in the final stages. A true test of will.

A veritable classic that gets at least one replay from me every year. A perfect mood-fixer.

Still an incredible thrill, more technically fascinating than the first while maybe a bit less interesting plot-wise. Revisited on New York Minute mode which was definitely quite the challenge.

Still a timeless classic, played this time on New York Minute mode. R.I.P. to the great James McCaffrey, the heart and soul of this series.

Started my year off with what must be my billionth playthrough. This time I played with Wendy and Bernard and got the Meteor arrested on live TV, possibly the toughest ending to get. Also just to see how the end would change (in this case none) I let Dave drown in the pool.
