I vaguely remember playing this as a kid and my Digimon suddenly evolved into sentient poop. Good times.

A well-written setting and story, but held back by its engine.

You have no idea how much I struggled to play through this thing with my relatives, because we didn't have a memory card

The campaign is okay, but the meat of the matter is in the multiplayer

A great introduction to the series, but has aged over time and combat is rather repetitive

I'm counting the base game with this because I'm a lazy git.

In terms of artsyle, feels a bit worse than the main VN but as a side story is pretty neat.
Also anything with Mamiko Noto on it is ambrosia to me

Very simple but fun as a concept, gameplay is deceptively hard because of the heavy controls

A disappointment in both gameplay and writing.
Even a cutting board has more depth than the characters

It's an okay game, but I feel like it lives under 0's shadow due to the way it copies mechanics from the game, right down to the fighting style.

Majima Everywhere is also a very divisive system that you either love or hate.

This was basically my first Yakuza game, so I am biased in its favor. Loved the disco minigame.

Probably the most fun I've had in multiplayer to date.

It's a fun shooter, but the engine is straining to run the game in it's current state. Even my rig has trouble running it now.

Gameplay is extremely clunky, with way too much backtracking, repetitive combat, lack of character model variety, but somehow still has some charm in its delivery due to the effort the devs put to make this game happen.
The writing is, in my opinion, fitting to the setting when looking at the books and has a lot of strong points for staying true to it in spirit.

Can't really recommend playing it, though.
