An absolutely beautiful game about the importance of bonds, finding purpose in life whatever the reason may be, and perseverance in the face of overwhelming adversity. Life is more about the day-to-day occurrences rather than dwelling on the unavoidable. It's how they continue to fight, to live, even when the world around them is in ruins. I really like how the main characters directly counteract Kefka’s nihilistic perspective on life. My first Final Fantasy game and definitely not the last.
