Little too simple and easy but fun. The progression, particularly for the mages is enjoyable but it felt like the fights were too fast for a lot of the spells to see much use. Wish more fights were at a similar level of challenge as Chaos.
Has some pretty severe flaws (particularly with the padding in the latter half) but really enjoyed this. The stealth segments are surprisingly limited and easy with a silenced pistol effective in all but one room, but are really fun. It gets obfuscated by how much people talk about the wacky convoluted thriller stuff but it really is sweet and humanistic in the end.
Good! Liked all the writing changes, with the new supports and slight additions to Celica's being standouts. The new maps are a massive improvement from Gaidens/SoV, with the worst maps from the original game now a lot of fun.
The size of the cast can be an issue, with most maps allowing full deployment like the base games, but others forcing you to leave out 2-5 members of your army. This means that you'll inevitably have a few units not up to par with the rest. This isn't a major issue though, especially if you don't mind playing on casual mode.
