I spent 80 hours with this game, doing almost all content, except the final protorelic and hard mode minigames, and I have to say the majority of my experience is positive, but there are definitely negatives that I need to mention.
Firstly, the sound mixing can be horrible at times, with character dialogue being easily drowned out by the music, particularly in side quests in the open world. Additionally all of the minigames are fun, but there are just far too many. Every two minutes I felt like I was asked to play yet another game: Frog jumping, Fort Condor, Queen's Blood, Gears and Gambits, the moogles, and more. Queen's blood was my favourite of these.
And finally... I know this may be personal but I just really did not like the ending. I wish it was more clear-cut and the merging of the worlds and all that really doesn't fill me with hope for the third and final installment.

Overall yes I had an amazing time, the open world worked well for me, and the character moments were funny and intriguing, but I still also find myself wondering if this all would have been better if it has just been Final Fantasy 17.

Also final final point: Why did fort condor make Barret White?

Incredible ghost design, sound design made the atmosphere feel so tense and heavy, multiple characters made the gameplay varied and I just love the vibe the setting has; Would highly reccomend

A great and unique puzzle game that really makes you think at times without being incredibly cryptic, but is let down by the sometimes unresponsive and unintuitive motion controls
