It's absolutely fun and the courses and online games are also enjoyable to play, but I just wish there was a more meaty and playful story like in Super Monkey Ball 2 or Super Monkey Ball Adventure, and that the minigames were better and more plentiful. Feels like it's over too quickly.

Good game; terrible remaster that doesn't address any of the core issues of the original game.
