I intend to write reviews for each mainline numerical Final Fantasy title (1-16). For titles 1-6 I will be playing the pixel remasters. I will not be reviewing Final Fantasy VII Remake until the story has been completed. I will not be reviewing Final Fantasy XI or XIV for two reasons. One is that they are MMORPGs and they take a lot of time. Time that I don’t have. The other reason is that these reviews are meant to compare the entries to each other and to explore the evolution of a series that saved an entire company from folding. MMORPGs don’t mingle well with regular entries. The last title that will be excluded is Final Fantasy X-2 and that is simply because I do not want to.
