I found it boring and i felt like my brain was melting.

very cliche story and dialogue, the combat is repetitive, the Asian nerd character was annoying, there was a mission that kept booting my friend out on co-op, apparently that's been an issue that just never got fixed. Some of the upgrades you get throughout were kinda cool i wish they were in a better game, the exploration sucked, transition areas was annoying, linear can be a good thing but the linearity of this game was done terribly, very controlled small areas to walk around until you jump over a fence and end up in combat, or leap down from a bridge and end up in another barely explorable area.

It wasn't very good.

As with most Bethesda games, it should have been better

Overall i'd say it's a good game but it does have a lot of problems

Too many planets that are too empty.
Too many meaningless quests
Some quests that were good, still did not reach their potential

Also, don't spend too much time building your base if you're going to play new game plus, it won't be there apparently.

There is no game that lingers on my mind as much as this.
The designers who worked on the dinosaurs were just having fun with it, gave the dinosaurs so much character beyond their scientific nature, making some of them little thieves to the argentavis' looming walk cycle, and even the environments, masterful in that department, though when it came to game pacing they dropped the ball so hard, making it this huge grind, and it genuinely upsets me, i think about it so often. i really hope ark 2 fixes the issues and keeps all the character it had before.
