A short and sweet 3D platformer that scratches the N64 Rare itch without all the dumb bullshit those games had

A very solid Megaman-esque take on the world of Castlevania that I think can stand toe to toe with games from both franchises. If it weren't for level 7 and 9 I'd fuck with it a lot harder though, cuz each of those not having any checkpoints is extremely brutal.

A game with great presentation and movement that feels about as good as I could expect out of a 2D platformer, but ultimately doesn’t do much for me. I think it’s extremely betrayed by its structure, for every short burst of platforming there’s another segment of walking around a town talking to people about the story, which is really not all that interesting. It constantly gets in its own way and won’t just let you enjoy any one aspect for long enough to really excite me.
