Basically a shorter far cry 3 that is faster and more of a power fantasy, and more funny.

Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?

I really enjoyed this one. For some reason, I like gun jamming.

Now, the open world is a bit constrained, and it really wants you to travel select paths where you get never-ending enemy respawns. This may be the biggest annoyance, but otherwise a solid open world shooter with gritty action.

Nostalgic, even though I didn't exist when it came out.

I somehow managed to enjoy the game, even though it turned out I got a infamous AI aimbot glitch thanks to playing on a modern system.

Excellent pseudo-open world exploration and shooting.

Top tier open world grinding and exploration. Packed with content, to say the least. Got over 130 hours, and I have mostly only done side quests. Now, even with a good game, I can grow tired and abandon it. I probably binge played too much, I should have played over a longer duration of time.

Might pick up again in the future.

RPGs are not my thing it seems. But this one was quite fun. Very satirical and self aware, and it was especially fun during the beginning with graphics gradually evolving.

Criminally underplayed game. It's on par with the Resident Evil remakes in terms of quality. Somehow it just didn't sell well, even if it's a great improvement over the original.

Nice and short little DLC

Can't complain, more of the same. This time we explore the deep subconscious of one character, and the visual methafors can be quite striking if you look into it.

I remember it being more of the same, but with extra stealth. I can't complain.

All around great third person survival horror shooting. It's a bit more on the action side than horror. Either way, I can see where the new resident evil remaster games got their inspiration from.

It manages to achieve the strange feat of being positively depressive and moody, while being fun and not too serious. It truly feels like you are trapped within a place haunted by the darkest subconscious thoughts of a collective mind, which the STEM machine traps people in. Brought me some deep philosophical thinking about consciousness. All this while being a fun game where you collect goo to upgrade your abilities and gear.

Played on switch and linux PC

Didn't finish it on switch. I came 72 hours in when trying again on PC, and to say the least, I was hooked and immersed. Problem being that I encountered numerous bugs that prevented quests from appearing, and the inventory system was time consuming to manage even though I cheated with infinite carry space.

I want to complete all quests, but it seems the game won't let me do that, and I lost motivation. May try again in a while, but with mods to patch things up.

More of the same from Dying Light, but that's what I'm all about. Top tier zombie bashing and open world exploration again. I found that it isn't any better or worse than the first game, they both compliment each other. Not to mention how Techland keeps supporting and updating these games way after release.

I played with RTX global illumination... and it looks so good. Truly transformative.

So it was a fun but somewhat frustrating extra mode. Fun combat and all, just found myself needing to cheese enemies all the time, and it was super bland compared to the main campaign.

Still, it could be a fun side distraction from the campaign, where you can actually get some weapons from the DLC into the actual world.

More of that Dying Light goodness, but in a less urban setting and with vehicles. Despite being DLC, it could very well be it's own game.

Trippy and memorable story
