Goated for it's community mod intergration. It's got good bones

It was great during its time. Still might be a joy to go back to. I loved building houses and making very complicated family trees.

Game is actual trash on console though.

Might be bias because how good I am at this game, but I really enjoy turning on some music or maybe a podcast and just going crazy with the maps. I logged a top ten on every map's leaderboards. outstanding vibe game

Terraria is the best 2D game I've ever played

With all the updates, this game has become something I wouldn't really change much of it. I like what they have done and I feel like this has a "minecraft 2 week phase" type connection with me.

Will play again next year probably

4 stars as a building game for it's era. It did a lot of things better than the competitors at the time, I love all the micro-management things available.

2.5 stars in the current age (2023). Just an unreasonable amount of content hidden behind dlc and hasn't had any free content updates in ages (if ever). Hopefully the sequel lives up to what this game was in 2015 and more. Otherwise let's hope for another indie dev to topple this franchise

Can't lie, I love a good management game. But frfr this game was lovely to just force employees to not quit, and oh my goodness there is a STOCK MARKET in the game that you can absolutely play to your advantage. Who needs to make software when you can just own it all!

Loved this game. It's one of those games I could see myself playing forever if I don't stop myself so I must uninstall for months at a time to keep myself away. It's so good, it's like crack.
