A unique experience that I feel transcends video games

After giving this game it's fair, honest try; not for me. It's excited, really well-designed and optimized, but I just cannot get behind something with such a nasty, disgusting and toxic community. I recognize this is no fault of the game itself, Valve has done a fantastic job creating a space for multiple different levels of players (from casual, competitive, to premiere, and all the ratings and rankings that come with those). This doesn't ever resolve the fact that there are insane numbers of low-life people that flock to this game since it's free to play.
If you are just an enjoyer, good, sincerely enjoy your games! It's meant to be fun. For all you people that get pissed off and scream and yell when you play this game... It's supposed to be fun, remember?

This was a really fun experience! The art style and world building is pretty incredible. The weaponry and combos you could make were enjoyable to find.

felt pretty money hungry with all the lunch box rewards... Cool concept thought, this game would probably slap if someone other than a heartless AAA studio made it.

This was the first ever city management game I played. It was incredibly eye-opening to my little 9 year old brain of what was possible under the umbrella "video game". This game had really cool events and little touches unlike many of it's competitors. The soundtrack was also god tier smooth jazz vibes.

4 was better. Story mode was pretty good, multiplayer was a shitshow cash grab and I can't believe people still play it a literal decade later... Hope they're having fun
