for a free game I can’t complain too drastically but
the writing and dialogue is incredibly lame. They had the platform to really say something about suicide and teen depression caused by the online landscape and overall peer toxicity. but it comes across as nothing that hasn’t already been said before.
to label this as a silent hill game really does hurt the franchise’s appearance especially for new players who try it specifically because it’s free

I can’t imagine playing this game alone, it’s a great co op experience. except for when I fucking hate it

2017

it runs as well as you’d expect it to

disappointing.

it’s not terrible, nor is it bad. but it lacks so much character that gave the series its status to begin with

ME WHEN NINTENDO MAKES THE MOST IN DEPTH CHARACTER CREATOR WITH NEAR LIMITLESS CAPABILITIES AND INFINITE POSSIBLE OUTCOMES ONLY TO NEVWR FUCKING USE IT AGAIN AND REPLACE IT WITH THE MOST BAREBONES AND SOULLESS AVATAR WITH SWITCH SPORTS A YEAR LATER AAUAUAYAGAGAGAGAGHHHHHHH

the soundtrack to this is really good you’d never expect it. maybe it’s just my nostalgia for the DS sound font but whatever I don’t care it slaps. as a whole this feels more like a proof of concept for it’s sequel than a full experience

it’s fine but it’s no tomodachi life………

this game holds so many precious memories, I love it. we will never get a sequel because Nintendo hates all that is good

THEY KILLED THIS SO FUCKING FAST. THE SOUL OF THIS POOR GAME DAMNED TO HELL BUT DR MARIO GETS BABY STONE BRICK YEARS AFTER IRS HEEN OIT FUJCUCU.UUUUVJKKKK

this is easily my least favorite title in the series. I enjoyed my first few hours with it, but quickly fell off once I messed around with terraforming my island, which sounds terrible, because with more creation tools and less limits you’d think it would be more fun. but it quickly became boring. I hit my wall a lot faster than most others did, but a common problem I saw was most people dropping off for similar reasons. I even attempted restarting my island just to start from scratch. it released with a real lack of content that should’ve been in there to begin with, and with it slowly being updated with features that were already present in new leaf, I felt like all they were capable of was recycling old ideas.
I wasn’t a fan of feeling isolated on an island in the middle of the sea. the vibe was off and it didn’t feel the same as you moving into an already bustling small town. As a fan (especially of new leaf) it didn’t really hit the way I’d hoped it would.

it’s a decent collection of good past levels, I can’t complain much. it’s a good introduction point for the series if you’ve never played a title before.

it was improved over time, and I’m glad it did. but I can’t help but always have a bad taste in my mouth because of the state they released it in, and just because they updated it with a ton of content compared to launch, doesn’t mean I forgive how poorly it’s release was handled. I don’t mind playing the game from time to time just to sit back and enjoy. It’s not bad, it’s very fun and scratches that itch to explore.

I’ve never not had fun playing thjs
