This was honestly such a good game. It was really fun with a great artstyle, awesome animations, and really tense gameplay. It is spooky and weird but also really really neat and I love some of the little details you can find. The AI is surprisingly good and definitely plays more like a player than an actual enemy, and I never felt like the game AI cheated while playing. I would highly recommend this game, especially because it only costs a dollar. Short and sweet.

Ghostrunner 2 is an excellent follow-up to the original and improves on it in many ways. You are given more mechanics in combat to utilize and fight enemies, you get a lot of interesting new enemies, and your abilities act as movement and combat tools that you can use. The soundtrack is fantastic, and the artstyle is great while also giving more of a variance in the environments that you encounter. I think the big issues come with the bike, which feels absolutely terrible, and the story. The story is pretty lame with a mediocre ending, and the characters you encounter aren't nearly interesting enough to actually care about. The sub-par facial animations looked really awkward, especially because there are so many robots it gets a little jarring. I didn't try the roguelite mode but if I do, I'll talk about it in my review here.

I’ll say, I really like Dead Rising 2, and this is more of that with a twist. But it shouldn’t be its own game, and I think the story changes are kinda stupid and make it less interesting. It also is where you see them really lean into the silliness way too much. Dead Rising 2 at least was able to pull back a lot, but this one just hits the throttle in comparison which led to 3 and, eventually, 4. Just play the regular version, especially because you won’t understand the DLCs if you do OTR.

Who doesn’t love devils. Or daggers?

An okay shooter that made the mistake of trying to capture lightning in a bottle. A FEAR game where you don’t even play as a FEAR operative, this game just had to keep on yanking on the original game in order to rely on the story because spooky girl. The game “””looks””” better, but interactions with enemies and the environment suffered because of it. The characters you run into are really cool, but the shooting is just mediocre. And the shooting is terrible as well. I will say though, this game has one of the most hardcore endings for a horror game I’ve seen that still bothers me, so maybe play just to experience that. But it isn’t as bad as everyone says it is.

The best part about this game was playing with my friend and talking about how much we hated it. It had some okay shooting but everything else is just so terrible and a complete insult to the first two games.

What an absolute beaut of a game. Amazing puzzles and exploration and one of the best I have played, I loved this game a a kid and I think everyone should play this, especially if you have played Portal.

A nice little side campaign that let us play more of Resident Evil 4, but really just retreaded old ground with not a whole lot of new stuff. Definitely not as good as the base game.

Play with friends on different courses. Who doesn’t love that? The physics are good, and each level is unique.

Not about zombies like I thought it would, but I really liked this game. It was super fun though and I think this is one of the best looking games ever. The city has so much detail that exploration was my favorite part, along with really enjoyable gameplay that I loved playing over and over. I didn’t play the endgame much, but there was always something to do and work on.

I don’t think people give this game enough credit. First, this game is BEAUTIFUL. The artstyle is great and the movement is so good. The movement system is relatively dynamic but feels nice, and I really really enjoyed this game with my playthrough. I felt that the biggest problem is that you don’t really feel liek a Thief. Almost every mission has you investigating, and most of the stealing you’re actually doing is somewhat of a side thing to do while doing the main mission, not the main mission yourself. The only real theft you do is the beginning of the game. Also, the story is awful. Terrible, bad, horrendous, doesn’t make sense, and clearly was rewritten a lot with how much the game cutscenes at the actual pre-rendered ones don’t really work together. I also think a big issue is the downgrade to a lot of systems the previous games had, but I’m reviewing this as a standalone game.

I get it, everyone loves this game. If you don’t like it you’re just bad, but this is the type of game that feels like it should be twenty minutes but takes eight hours because of poor, frustrating mechanics. I guess you get bragging rights if you beat this legit, which I did, but it probably ruined the experience since this game had cool movement for the time, fun slashing, good graphics and a killer soundtrack. But the got’cha mechanics got old really, really fast.

This is a really pretty game with a really fun mechanic, but that is all there is. Essentially no real gameplay, no interesting exploration, you just walk through a cool environment and do some puzzles that are basically just (go into spirit mode). You run into the monster and can die in only like, five parts of the game which really brought it down especially since those encounters aren’t actually dynamic encounters. You just move when the game makes it clear that you are supposed to.

I fell in love with this game watching a streamer play Kerillian, and I saw him unleash arrow after arrow into Skaven. I knew nothing and still know nothing about Warhammer, but this game is amazing. Amazing character interactions, replayability, levels, art style, weapons, combat, and about a billion other things about this game that is absolutely being amazing and it is still getting a lot of support to this day. Everyone should play it.

This was one of those games you got as a kid because you liked Spongebob and it was what your mom saw on a GameStop shelf. At least, that is what happened with me. I liked the game as a kid but it had pretty awful minigames and I really didn’t have anyone to play with, but it certainly could’ve been worse.
