Ghostrunner is an insanely good game, and I highly enjoyed the mechanics and gameplay. The music was fantastic and the story was simple but sweet. I think they did an excellent job with the gameplay flow and battles, and the pacing of levels was really good. The artstyle is absoulutely wonderful, and I think the puzzle platforming was just good enough. My biggest issue comes with some of the boss fights. With the exception of one, they are more platforming rather than actual combat. I also found the areas in 'Cyberspace' was just, well, terrible. It was a real downgrade compared to the rest of the game even if they were short, and could've been cut entirely. I really liked it though and highly recommend it, despite how short it is!

I really liked this game! It was super cute with a nice narrative and art style. The game was a little easier than I expected and you could beat it in a single sitting, but I think it definitely was a fun little experience. I liked the climbing and the aspects to it, though I felt that it could've been just a little bit harder to utilize all of the created mechanics. I would love to see more levels eventually but if not, it was short and sweet and a delight.

Almost absolute gaming perfection. The story, the music, the setting, the cutscenes, the characters, the world, the exploration. Everything is absolute top-tier and makes Alan Wake 2 Remedy's Magnum Opus. I loved this game, but I do have a small flaw with the game: there is not nearly enough combat. A lot of areas that easily could've had enemies in them were empty, and I hope we get an update that includes more combat with enemy's dropping more supplies. I think if we had double the amount of combat encounters, maybe one extra enemy per encounter, it would be the perfect amount of balance. I also have played all of Remedy's games, and it really feels like you'll miss out a lot if you haven't played Alan Wake 1 or Control.

Kind of the same problems I have with the Ringed City: didn't enjoy the environments (except the fishing hamlet), the new enemies weren't extremely interesting, but it has some of the best bosses in the entire series that really reward you for learning the mechanics of the game. It is insane how quality Maria, The Orphan of Kos, and Ludwig are. I love them, and the DLC also has insanely cool weapons that are super unique and interesting to use.

But seriously, FUCK the sharks. Genuinely the worst enemy in any Soulsgame.

I didn't like the areas in this DLC as much as everyone else, but the city is decent enough. I hated how many areas there were where you just play Red Light Green Light in this DLC, but the bosses and the lore surrounding the DLC basically saved it in my eyes. The bosses are absolutely amazing and were so so fun to learn and fight against. I really feel like the Demon fight is the best duo fight in the series.

I was a big fan of this DLC! It was a solid experience with one of the best bosses I faced. The world reminded me of Cainhurst, and Bloodborne was my favorite game. It is short, but I think it capitalizes on this well with every area being fun to explore and go through. I really, really liked it.

Lackluster, clearly designed to make money. Doesn't really feel good to play, and other than the meme of fighting the 'good guys' there isn't much value to this.

This was slightly better than the first one, but only slightly. You get another gun including one not from the base game (that you use for five minutes) and it had more interesting areas. Other than that, basically the same problems as the first one.

I really disliked this DLC. The game has pretty mediocre stealth mechanics, so to make an ENTIRE DLC that completely messes with the main story in ways that don't make sense centered around is was pretty weak. Ending it with a lame cliffhanger to sell more DLC was dumb as well. I liked Kidman, I liked the areas and the spotlight enemy's design but not much was redeeming about this DLC.

This game has a lot of pros and cons to it. I like the open worldish design, I like the flow of combat when it gets going, and the characters I actually enjoyed that were inside STEM. I think a big flaw of this game is that it doesn't have as many interesting set pieces utilizing the idea of the game, and that makes it feel a little boring. I also think that the movement is very janky and it has some awkward animations that you run into often. The game definitely feels way too short as well, and the story is somewhat disconnected at certain parts. I also think it is way too much of a one-track story with the main character really only having one goal and forced interactions. Definitely could've been better but I like the ideas they went for, so I would still say it is worth play. Just, well, forgettable.

Awful game. Majula and the music was the only thing I liked. Game had horrible enemy spawn design, blatantly awful mechanics which created a lot of small annoyances, and people complain about the fan service of DS3 wihtout realizing this game had it just as much. I thought the idea of gimmicks regarding boss arenas so they weren't just squares or circles was a decent idea, but the execution was horrendous. Just so many terrible ideas made this painful to go through, and I only beat it out of pure obligation for starting it.

As a big fan of Resident Evil 4, I didn't go into it with that expectation. But I certainly see the crossover. It has a big feel of RE4 to it only it isn't as strong when it leans into the action parts. The combat and resource management is really nice, and I like the characters as well. My big issue is the story makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and you really, really have to suspend your disbelief for why things happen or don't happen. I also think the DLC is pretty bad. Kidman's DLC was really, really boring and is more just to serve as a way to explain what STEM is more and make her not the complete evil bad guy. And the Keeper DLC was okay, but nothing really too interesting. I think if you like horror games you can play this, because there is a lot of good stuff but overall it only just a decently good game.

I know I'll get shit for this, but everytime this game did something right, it did something wrong. Amazing bosses with some of the worst in the series mixed in. Great dungeons and caves that were worth exploring with a majority of them being copy-pasted or mediocre at absolute best. A wonderful world to explore that made it way too easy to run past everything. Great lore with most of the cool stuff being so hidden away or events that already happened. Amazingly beautiful weapon arts that made your character look so badass which were usually terrible. The music was fantastic all the way though, I'll give it that. But overall, I don't see the magic. I feel this game was too big, and I think they keep overshooting with a lot of their games which leads to absolutely amazing areas, and then terrible areas. If you cut out the bad content, which is like 25% of the game, the score would be higher.
