Eclectic Instrumentation

I'm studying music, and I also love games. So I like games with eclectic instrumentation, and weird sound design, overall strange aesthetic choices musically. Please give me recommendations! I hope what I've explained here gives kind of an idea of what I like to listen to.
Kind of like folktronica, with strange instrumentation (not just strings), weird and mysterious music that gives you a sense that you are discovering something secret.

Mostly free-reed instruments, talking reed organs, possibly old dusty accordions and maybe mouth organs like the Khaen from Laos. It produces an eerie otherworldly effect, with the droning reeds making us feel like we are a sick sailor.
Bizarre chromatic punches on vibraphones, strange atonal brass doots, and occasionally some Professor Layton-esque wandering mysterious and misty acoustic themes (Bodyguard salon for example). Then there are some just insanely bright and energetic tracks (Dora Dora defeated). Interesting balance between strange, mysterious and vibrant.
The instrumentation in the Chibi-Robo series is not particularly out-there, most of the time it's electric bass, guitar and rhodes. What's wacky is how everything is used, really funky, you can hear the amp feedback on most of the tracks. Overwhelmingly "warm". Check out 8 bit music theory's video on the soundtrack of this game.
Had to be on here. Strange wandering folk stringed instruments mixed with overwhelmingly warm distorted electric stringed instruments. Add strange vocal stings to the mix and then you have a feeling like dancing in a circle with a Sun Cult.
Majora's Mask needs no introduction, and there is going to be a few Zelda games on here. A lot of Zelda games use surprisingly obscure, eclectic instruments to convey a particular vibe. In this game, what's notable is the lack of tonal center (incredibly unstable and odd sounding) in many of the games themes, notably Southern Swamp.
A lot of people overlook the sound design for TP. We have a few odd instruments. The Forest Temple iirc uses an angklung (so did OOT's forest temple) with some echo to create a sound like bones clattling, skeletons, and mystery. The Faron Woods theme uses a cura, a high pitched variant of a Turkish instrument (according to what I hear from the VGM discord server) which produces a sound kind of bright but also tempered and mysterious. Overall, one of my favorite soundtracks and a big reason it's one of my favorite games.
Obviously, a lot of traditional Japanese instruments but blended in a unique, modernized compositional form.

@hannenx Oh yeah Evergrace 2/Forever Kingdom! Currently playing through that one. Will get it added! Love Kota Hoshino, one of my favorite game composers tbh.
