Fallout: New Vegas - Dead Money
This is such a hard DLC for me to think about cus everything but the gameplay is fantastic. The atmosphere breathing down your neck, the incredibly memorable characters, the depressing story, it's so good. But then the gameplay has to go and fucking suck dick.
I dont mind being stripped of my weapons but on god why did you only leave like 7 guns in the entire DLC with no bullets, why is there only TWO enemies, one being an annoying stealth challenge and the other boring tanky people, who's fucking idea were the radios; it just frustrates me cus if the gameplay was good it'd be an amazing DLC.

Fallout 2
This is very clearly an improvement on Fallout 1 in seemingly every way, from how there is so much more to explore to how leveling up skills like lockpick and science has a lot more use. The story also while less lonely and hopeless has more interesting twists, with a genuinely terrifying antagonist.
But I can't help but feel it's also a good example on why bigger is not always better. Mechanics which were only slightly annoying in 1 become a real pain here, such as map encounters being extremely hard half the time.
