Enjoyable but an overall mixed offering.

The key word i'd use to describe the story is interesting- but the narrative is sequenced in a drab and rather incomprehensible way- which makes this game boring at worst, inoffensive at best.

But the gameplay is nice and the world for like the first the half of the game appears to be fascinating enough and thus it succeeds in fetching your interest and keeping you engaged - purely in the window where the gaming loop/gimmick and the game's aesthetics have a hold over you.

Speaking of the map, it is a maze and is quite beautiful at that, which to its detriment, can be quite grating too navigate through, especially considering how repetitive and rudimentary the nature of some quests is, thus backtracking or finding obscure locations on map can be grueling and true test of patience.

The DLC's are mid and at times riddled with bugs or just uninspired design.

It's great if you get it cheap and want to enjoy a Triple A Stunner, with a more narrative lean; but don't expect much- the remedy name and it being a graphical powerhouse, contributes to its popularity for sure.
