Yes, it took me 31 hours to finish Resident Evil 7 because I was scared...
From before playing it, when you see it in the store you know it's nothing like what you saw before in Resident, at the beginning it looks a lot like the demo of Hideo Kojima's P.T, even if they sold it to me as the Silent Hills that was canceled, I would believe them, it looks very similar. The truth to me the game kept me in an atmosphere of tension every little while by the fact that the monsters that appear in the game, appear out of nowhere when you're walking around a corner or there is a door to the left, at that moment it is as if it were a jumpscare and scared me too haha. Other than that, the puzzles are ok, they are not that difficult although there are not very complex as they are used to in the world of Resident.
The truth if you are interested in the game but you are not convinced 100% I would say that you leave that aside and try to play it, I do not think you will be disappointed if you come with a clean mind and do not expect it to be like the old Resident Evil because here it is similar but it handles a somewhat different style than usual. And then seeing more of the story will sell you the stories in DLC and you will want to play them later, I hope that in some offers they lower the price to understand some things that I left the game after finishing it.

Si, me tomó 31 horas acabar Resident Evil 7 porque me dio miedo...
Desde antes de jugarlo, al verlo en la tienda sabes que no es nada como lo de antes que se veia en Resident, al inicio se parece un monton a la demo de P.T de Hideo Kojima, hasta si me lo vendieran como el Silent Hills que fue cancelado, les creeria, se ve muy similar. La verdad a mi el juego me mantuvo en una atmosfera de tension a cada ratito por el hecho de que los monstruos que salen en el juego, aparecen de la nada cuando vas caminando por una esquina o hay una puerta a la izquierda, en ese justo momento es como si fuera un jumpscare y me asusto demasiado jaja. Fuera de ahi, los rompecabezas estan bien, no estan tan dificiles aunque no hay muy complejos como se suelen acostumbrar en el mundo de Resident.
La verdad si te interesa el juego pero no te convence al 100% yo si diria que dejaras eso a un lado y intentaras jugarlo, no creo que te decepcione si vienes con la mentalidad limpia y no esperas que sea como los Resident Evil antiguos porque aqui es similar pero se maneja un estilo algo diferente a lo acostumbrado. Y despues viendo mas cosas de la historia te venderan las historias en DLC y las querras jugar despues, yo espero que en algunas ofertas bajen de precio para entender algunas cosas que me dejo el juego al acabarlo.
