Tekken 4 is widely considered to be, well, a bit of a mixed bag really. Most people have fond memories of it growing up and I'm no exception to that rule, but it had its fair share of issues, such as Touch of Death combos due to game oversight, the height mechanics as much as I loved them would cause unexpected outcomes for combos, Jin's Laser Scraper being damn near the best move in the game, certain stages allowing you to bounce people off walls for full combos. Some walls in certain stages just not having proper collision so you could juggle them against it infinitely, I'm sure there's more I could go into regarding it.

Despite that though. Despite all that. The game is fun. Very fun. Tekken Force is fun. The Arcade mode is fun. Combos feel very satisfying. Some of the designs for these characters go HARD as fuck, Yoshimitsu with his bug like costume is a personal favourite. The music is memorable and amazing. There isn't a single thing to hate about this game until you get to the competitive side of things.

When you stop playing for fun, and realise further down the line that actually, the game is ever so slightly undertuned and certain characters excel well above their means.

Regardless of that though, there is a lot of fun to be had.
