Gave the rating the highest I could’ve. Theres too much in this game I dislike that I couldn’t give it a better score. The combat for starters, is copied from the Batman Arkham Series. The only additions to the combat make it too easy or boring. Gadgets are a cool concept but fail in execution when they take out entire groups of enemy’s without too much difficulty. I also wish the map was a bit better. The map is filled with pointless missions and objectives that ruin the overall quality of the game. I really hope the second installment in the series doesn’t include missions where you’re flying through gas circles in the sky. The story is pretty good for the most part but I found the Mr. Negative stuff to be uninteresting. The MJ missions are terrible and shouldn’t have made it into the game, I don’t want to play as a regular person while Spider-Man is doing the cool stuff. The Miles/Rhino mission was really fun but other than that, Miles’ missions weren’t far off from MJ’s. The boss fights were all good as well. The UI of the game is pretty good and it’s pretty fun unlocking new suits throughout the game. NYC looks beautiful and the graphics are great.

6/10. I hope the sequel will improve on this game.
