The atmosphere is very dark and bleak, which is honestly a breath of fresh air compared to most JRPGs. The story is a bit hard to follow, but is made up with the world building that is done through all the characters and quests. Gameplay is rewarding and fun. Soundtrack will blow you away.

I don't really have a problem with SMT IV other than the overworld which can be hard to navigate at times.
