sometimes trying new things is bad for you

A game that's basically a full version of the Wii Sports Resort™ Island Flyover minigame sounds like an instant banger, but this game has less content than that. There's about three things to do in this game and it feels like a tech-demo. Too bad!

I met a goat guy 3 times. He had a long beard and I just felt weird.

[Dad's note: She had her tonsils out the same day TotK came out, so she was in a semi-delirious state when she insisted on reviewing the game. I was very impressed that she still managed to get through a couple shrines on her own!]

You guys spent $70 on Bad Piggies

It's fun but hard. I like "bwomping", and most people call the square a cube even though it's not 3D! I like the game because it has a lot of customability, and you can do funny things. And my favorite part is playing the level Blast Processing (the bwomp level) because it has the best song in the game. My favorite custom song is called Endgame by Waterflame, and Waterflame makes good songs. And when will 2.2 come out? Robtop please. Please give us 2.2. Bye!

Truly one of the most unique things to come out of Minecraft as an engine. If you enjoy MMOs, this is definitely worth getting into

My dad randomly brought this thing home the other day and I gotta say, it's truly one of the Mario Karts of all time.

It's a watch with a game, but it's a terrible watch, as the displayed clock is a tiny number on the top-right of the LCD at all times, making you squint to read it.

As a game? The gameplay is vague as it can be. You're put on a track with three lanes, and have to dodge karts on the circuit. Instinctively, a player would just try to get to the finish line, but that'll take you a while (there is no finish).

Your actual task is to grab flags from Mario to the left (which requires you to realize that there's a temporary moment at which you can enter a secret fourth track to the left) and bring them to the 4-pixel flags on the right, after which Mario appears at that spot (Were you carrying Mario then?). Repeat this trice and you're rewarded an ending screen. I'd have had the time of my life if I had this when I was 6.

All in all? Sure, it's a watch, and sure, it's a super mario race-ish game. It really is the epitome of "A jack of all trades is a master of none-" without mentioning the second part of the phrase because this game doesn't do that justice. It still passes the time-wasting game test and is a fun niche thing to have.
