A great sequel for borderlands 2 but the writing is terrible. Quick review: Gunplay, movement and gameplay feel better. Story and performance worse

A really fun game that invented the looter shooter. Fun writing, fun skill tries and fun guns. The leveling can be frustrating to deal with since enemies 3 levels higher than you can really tank and dish out more than they should and some characters are much better than others.
2013
I absolutely love this game. This game is still well populated and is really easy to get all the DLC for it. The multiplayer is super fun and chaotic. Gun balance and vehicle balance are not so good and server rules differ from server to server but most are fine.
Story was pretty fun and surprisingly decently written as compared to the other battlefield games. I could not get onto the mp through steam though

Its alright. Really a good summary for the whole game. It has a decent atmosphere but it feels lifeless, boring and drab. The hacking is one button taps and doing puzzles. Has some fun parts but its just really bland and unmemorable, especially with a release so close to Grand Theft Auto V and now the weird sequels.

Just insufferable story and terrible settings and plot. Feels lifeless and corporate and it feels like a 40 year old trying to sell an antiestablishment piece when it could not be more contrived and by committee. Does not even have the atmosphere of the first game.
Really fun if you like grindy and character building games. Has a ton of stuff to do and the gunplay is very punchy and fun over and over which is good because that is most of the game. Certainly not for everyone but I really liked it and the New York DLC was a fun touch. The worst part is that the Dark Zones are really unfun and small. They also force you to pvp against people who have a bunch of minor buffs that can turn the tide. Some the difficulty is the nonsense levels where you just can not hurt the bad guys. The story is nothing much to speak of but it was a really fun shooty shooty gun adventure with a bunch of guns.
