When I picked up the X games, met Zero, and eventually played as him, I thought "man, he's cool af". Then, I picked up the Zero games and thought "yep, he is still cool af". But it is only when I played this game that I truly realized: he's simply #Him.

It was one thing for the story and stages to be the best these games had to offer so far, but it even went the extra step of basically making the combat 2D Devil May Cry. It is entirely possible to play this game however you want, either casually or testing your skills with all the crazy stuff you can do with the combo system.

I guess some of the bosses weren't that interesting to tackle, but otherwise, this is a truly phenomenal game.

Excellent game. As someone who thinks Ape Escape is the bets platformer of all time, I am glad I played this game because it is fantastic.

Caught all monkeys and it was a blast. Lot of variety in the levels, unfortunately only a couple of new gadgets, only 1 of us which was fun to use (the magnet)

Music was great, graphics and performance were great.

Only reason this is a 9 and not a 10 for me is because this felt like more of the same of the 1st game but not as grand, and the story was not as personal-feeling as Spike's story. Whole thing felt like a big expansion pack which was a slight letdown but I still had a LOT of fun with this one. Love what you unlock for getting all monkeys, worth maybe another playthrough sometime soon for that alone.

See you on Poinie's Poin.

Great game. Easily a step up from the first entry as well as fixing a lot of my issues with the game. Only complaint is that there was like 1 level I got really annoyed with.

Excellent game. A ton of variety with the levels and missions, and I mean a TON of variety. All the missions would surprise me with how different it would be. 99% of them were fun as hell.

Excellent music, especially in Paris, loved that first level.
Excellent voice cast.

Only negative was 1 of the areas of the game, the 3rd one, was a pain in the ass to traverse or navigate. Sour spot on the whole game but I still loved my time with this game and the missions in the area. Definitely an essential play for the ps2.

It's crazy, I initially liked this game.

The first 3 stages were a solid NES platformer with decent graphics and maybe a little bit of an annoyance but not too bad. That annoyance being the fact that there is zero recovery time when you get hit.

Goddamn this shit went from like a 6 or 7 out of 10 to like a 1/10 when I got to the water level. You absolutely have to play this shit to believe it. It is insanity. The buttons get reversed underwater for no reason, there are fucking tons of bubbles being shot at you with zero way to fight back, you have to dodge a ton of shit that sucks you in and do it with your limited air.

I managed to beat the level then the rest of the game but that blight soured my entire fun with this game. Really disappointed with this one especially with how much I enjoyed it initially.

The grandfather of the Resident Evil series, Sweet home lays down the foundation of survival horror while standing on its own as a horror jrpg. It certainly has its faults though: menuing can be really shitty to navigate and managing each character and their items can be quite tedious. I found myself accidently pressing the wrong menu button multiple times. The difficulty scaling is quite abysmal; once your characters reach level 3 and onwards none of the enemies will ever truly pose a threat. The quick events are usually just some object falling down on a character and you can probably select the same dodge option the whole game and not die once. Really a lot of the game's mechanics are undermined by easy the game is. The story is good too but a lot of the revelations fall flat in presentation.

Despite its faults though, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the progression of exploring the house. The soundtrack is pretty good, the basement and fresco themes being highlights. Overall an entertaining title to play from start to finish that gives me much more appreciation of Resident Evil.

Solid game, albeit a thin experience. Took me 5 hours to beat, and there's zero side quests, just 4 activities that got old quick.

I liked the movement more than 2, and I liked the combat more, story i guess was alright. Feel like it just made me want to read the comics more.

It was a fun game to play, even though 2 bosses were stupid annoying, but left me wishing it was a meatier game. 7/10

Vastly improves on the first game with upgrades and being able to play as Bentley and Murray. Backtracking all the way back to the safehouse can get mildly annoying though, at least depending on what episode you're on. Other than that, one of the best platformers I've played.
