The last decent TH game until THPS 1+2. Not the series' best, but certainly not the worst by a long shot.

Bottom-of-the-barrel """humor""" Saved by some good maps and the tightest skating the series ever managed. Feels amazing to play, but the cutscenes will shrivel your soul from cringe.

Phenomenal multiplayer (when it was active/working), and the singleplayer was good but tends to get pretty overrated.

I thought the Multiplayer was actually a ton of fun, but I never touched the singleplayer.

Not a very good game, but the Title Screen/ Bonus Round music will be stuck in my head for the rest of my life.

The colorful graphics are beautiful, but they somehow messed up how every single one of the games plays. The problems with SMB1 and The Lost Levels in this collection are well documented, but SMB3 also feels/controls completely wrong compared to the original version.

A confusing number of steps back from 3 and 4. A good game, but very disappointing on release. Fortunately, Royal fixed most issues this game had, and is a far better realization of the franchise's potential. If you've never played P5 and are for some reason considering playing vanilla over Royal, I cannot stress enough that that would be a mistake.

Matsuno barely trying and ripping off Star Wars is somehow still a better writer than 95% of people working in video games. Overlong and MMOish, the Fast Forward option The Zodiac Age added is a blessing, and the Job system is a great idea that works very well. The art direction Is some of the best in the series, and Hitoshi Sakimoto's score is fantastic.

A good game, but neither Final Fantasy's nor Matsuno's best.

Far and away the worst Final Fantasy I've played all the way through. Both protagonists are unlikable (and they're the worst voice actors in the game, and no, I'm not just referring to the laughing scene), I could sleep through 99% of the fights, the story is mostly nonsense or inconsequential, and Blitzball is terrible.

I don't know why I like Spore so much

Speedy Eggbert SLAPPED when I was like 6

This should be installed on every computer in schools all across America

Spent all day thinkin' bout Trip and Grace...

I spent soooooo much time playing this as a kid, and I was TERRIBLE at it. I never got any better, either. Yet I still must have sunk 200ish hours into it.

Underrated. Great writing with meaningful choices, but ability/combat balance can be pretty busted. You can talk/ sneak your way through everything but boss fights, which aren't in any way skippable. So you NEED to spec into at least some form of gun combat or else risk softlocking yourself on an unbeatable boss.

Still though, excellent writing and overall a great idea. Wish we could get a sequel.
