I had no intention of playing this game, nor did I realise that this even existed, but as I was waiting for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to download, I figured I might as well give it a shot. This is a fun short platformer bursting with vibrant colors and personality, showcasing so many of the innovations that come with the new DualShock controller in spectacular fashion. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to this next generation of consoles.

I wouldn't be true to my favorite games page if I didn't replay Spider-Man: Miles Morales as well. It was the perfect game during the holiday season in 2022 to satiate my Spider-Man craving until Marvel's Spider-Man 2 dropped a couple of months ago. Insomniac strikes again.

I just had to play this game on New Game Plus. It's the only full length AAA video game to date that I have replayed to date. There's so much to love about this game and after a year in between playthroughs, it just made me want to steep myself in its lore that much more. Exploring every nook and cranny of a video game has never been more fun than it was being Spider-Man.

This game has so much personality, it's ridiculous. I got all of the feelings that I had playing this game that I did watching the first GOTG movie back in 2014. It has exceptional writing and characters, super fun gameplay with Star Lord, and really great visuals for a fun space odyssey. I really can't complain about much in this game, other than I wish that it was a little more diverse in its gameplay mechanics.

I really hate mostly everything that this game stands for. My rating is for the campaign only, which had a very interesting story if it weren't bogged down by insufferable gameplay. Riding off of the heels of Spider-Man PS4 gave me high expectations and sheer excitement for the potential of a Avengers AAA game, but Crystal Dynamics took that all away as soon as I started playing this game. It was one of the biggest disappointments in gaming I've had in my time. And the DLCs really didn't do much to change my mind.

Had a blast with this game. As a previously lifetime Xbox user, I had never had the pleasure to play a Ratchet and Clank game before, and this one did not disappoint. I understand that it is pseudo remake/adaptation of the movie for new gamers like myself and it had a fun story. Looking forward to getting my hands on Rift Apart too because Insomniac rarely misses.

It was fun to play in the world of the Jurassic Park IP, but I would honestly just play LEGO Jurassic World if you're looking to do that. This game is buggy, it doesn't look great, and it kind of just goes through the motions of everything that makes the movies great. Not really worth your time.

Rating for campaign only. Injustice Gods Among Us is a fun fighting foray into the DC Universe with some great voice acting, a huge roster of characters, and a very intriguing narrative that kept me entertained. The Ultimate Edition is certainly a bang for your buck.

At some point in my life, I was on a mission to play all of Telltale's games apparently. I really didn't read much of Bone in my youth and this is your ordinary, unmemorable point and click game.

WB Games Montreal recently came out with Gotham Knights and after playing that for a few hours, I can say that Arkham Origins is way better. It is definitely the worst game in the franchise but it cannot be discredited. There's a ton of fun villains to beat, and it's really great to be able to explore Gotham City in this prequel edition of Batman's story. It has a lot of good stuff going for it--underrated for sure.

Don't Nod coming in with some free prologue goodies for Life is Strange fans and I ate it up.

A masterpiece through and through. I haven't yet found the patience or time to play through Red Dead 2, so starting with the first game really let me ease into the world and experience all that this one has to offer. Objectively one of the best games I've ever finished and John Marston is such an iconic protagonist. I really have no criticisms other than it could use a serious graphics overhaul (remaster down the line perhaps?)

Very cool game with some fun FPS action in a cyberpunk inspired world. It can almost be overwhelming with all of the options that you have to go about tasks, but that is part of what makes Human Revolution a great game. You can really tailor it to your personal preference.

Rating for the campaign only. I feel like I use superlatives way too often in my reviews, but Titanfall 2's mission "Effect and Cause" is the most fun I've ever had playing a video game.
