Heartfelt, compelling and full of twists and turns that play about with the telltale-esque story formula in several incredibly creative ways (chapter 2 for instance is a high point in shocks, turns and unexpected choice concequences)....

But then around chapter 3 it the disguise of choice starts to peel away and by the end chapter its gone completely. Partly because of how the plot goes but also because of the obvious budget issues going into those last two chapters. Its still a heartbreaking and chaotic ride but one that I wish had stuck the landing a little better.

I dont get it. Its honestly just kinda dull and not al that scary. I bought this because I got caught up in the hype and was left feeling just kinda empty. Shame.

Starts off pretty fun but unfortunately as the game goes on, the levels get bigger and busier, the amount to do in each level gets more frustrating and the one-hit and restart back to the beginning of the level mechanics just make for a very unfun time.

Mildly better re-release that fixes some of the issues from the original, giving some levels a total overhaul and cleaning up most of the camera issues. Adding all the DLC is nice too but it still cant save the game from feeling just vaugely average.

Its fun and charming enough to speed through if you happen to love 3D platformers but its still lacking in originality and flair.

Fun and cute enough platformer but lacks any real bite to leave any real mark. Not helped by the occasional dud level and wonky camerawork.

Just kinda drab. Its fun occasionally but its just lacking enough polish to make it feel fun.

Dumb silly mindless fun thats honestly a blast to play. A little too simple at times and this isnt exactly the sort of game you'll be able to play for long stretches but that doesnt matter a great deal. As long as you are after some simple chaotic fun, thats what you'll get.

Funtimes.

Starts off ok but soon turns into a messy frantic button-mashy jumble of a game where you feel success or failure lands entirely on where enemies decide to spawn that time around vs any actual skill.

This should have stayed lost. Sure theres more content and theres more of everything but when the frame-rate repeatedly shits the bed to the point where the game more resembles a picture book than an actual game, you realise you'd be better off spending your time elsewhere on something more productive with your time.

As a tech demo sort of thing its impressive, as an actual game though its a bit of a mess where despite the occasional moment of greatness, a good portion of the time is just spent fighting with the controls or watching as the action gets too much for the SNES to keep up with.

Fairly decent platformer that starts off pretty fun but somewhere around the middle you'll realise you've pretty much seen everything the game has to offer.

Very pretty in a 90s animated adventure game sort of way and charming in places but overall its just too basic, easy and short. Im not asking every game to be discworld but I would expect something more than basic baby puzzling.

Also the controls for the Xbox One version of the game suck. They feel buggy, slidey and generally are a pain to use.

Starts off really fun and full of life and creativity but as the game progresses its almost as if the engine shits the bed and the game turns into a buggy frightful mess where it feels more luck-based than skill-based.

Dont get me wrong, its a cute and well made point and click adventure with some decent laughs and nice graphics but its so short to the point where you could blink and miss it. Its in desperate need of more content.

Original Gods I gave 1.5. This gets half a star simply because of some of the quality of life fixes such as saving. Thankfully the game lets you switch between the new and old graphics because holy hell the 'Remastered' graphics are honestly painful to look at.
