A pretty decent expansion that adds a huge new area, a buggy that's pretty much required to explore it, and a wide swath of new content. The story's got some issues, but it's otherwise serviceable. New weapons and gear also help improve the game a bit.

I beat it, but it took entirely too long. Mirroring what a lot of people have said, it's a frustrating mess. Enemies have large pools of HP to whittle through your collection of Miis. While you can use Play Coins to bring people back, you better have a lot of them (or the Fast Coin homebrew app, just saying). Probably one of the most disappointing games in the Mii Plaza.

Great game, the mechanics make it feel really good to get through levels as you nail cool jumps and make fast maneuvers through tight spots. It'd be a 5/5 if not for the boss fights being kind of annoying, and 4 health feels like it was a decision made around the platforming, not enough for bosses. Especially the final boss.

The Nintendo 64 port is incredible! It's mind-boggling how well this worked, had everything in it (even if it had to be heavily compressed), and even had the randomizer mode! All in one 64 MB cartridge! This port is nothing short of a miracle.
