It's a solid game and I felt that it was a good introduction to the Persona series for me. It did take me a while to get into it, especially as I took a while to grasp the mechanics and find the motivation to play it more (thank you, Steam Deck!) Once I started getting used to it and had a full party setup, I didn't struggle to get through the story all that much with the exception of a few bosses. There is one major gripe I have with the Steam version that I can't ignore. Why does a single player game, let alone a PS2 one have DRM that forces you to go online before you play it?

Moving past that, I enjoyed the story and the setting of Inaba, and I liked the little twists and turns along the way as I progressed further through the story, but some of the dialogue is so cringe and made me feel like I'm way past the game's target demographic, it's a bit of an unfortunate side effect of the game showing its age and me showing mine as well.

As these dialogue issues are brought up by most people, I'll skip over them but I'll make a point that Rise's obsession with Narukami got me feeling that If I were him, I'd keep a spray bottle filled with holy water on me with my finger always on the trigger, ready to pull it at any given second if she got within 3 feet of me.

Despite my gripes, I really enjoyed the game and I'm glad I started playing it around the time I did as while I was mid-playthrough, an update dropped which added a quick save feature, which tremendously improved my experience as someone that played in short bursts during my work breaks. I'm really glad that there's finally a handheld system out there to facilitate my playthrough of P4G, I say, as I give my PS Vita the nastiest stare.

Hot Wheels unleashed is a pretty decent game that can be really fun to play, but it's hindered by a lot of microtransactions and UI that feels like it was designed for a mobile game. I think the content that it offers is great to the point where there isn't really any pressure to get DLC unless you really want it but the absolute abundance of it is ridiculous.

I've found racing to be extremely fun, especially in scenarios where I'm playing with friends and we're neck and neck while I'm driving the Barbie Dream Camper or when I'm flying solo and I put on my eurobeat and punk rock playlists to fuel my inner drift queen. This is definitely a game you should consider grabbing if you want to play a casual arcade racing game, yearn for a Hot Wheels experience and don't mind putting up with some of the issues it has. With that said, I don't think the base game is worth getting at its current asking price and only recommend grabbing it on a sale.

I tried playing through it as my first Zelda but it's just not been clicking with me. Maybe I'm not giving it the time it needs for me to enjoy it or playing it the right way. I felt that the open world is very overwhelming and I'm too lost on this journey despite being given a primary objective.

Devil May Cry 2 is one of the games of all time. I enjoyed a few cutscenes and some of the core gameplay but that's about it. It's short enough that you can beat both stories in a week tops if you really want to but there's really no need for you to do that to yourself.

I first started this as a dumb kid who couldn't make it through the first puzzle. Today I'm a slightly less dumb adult that at least had the know-how on how to beat this game, which isn't saying a lot. My verdict is that it's pretty good but can be really frustrating at points. A lot of it felt the same as God of War 1 but slightly harder at times, and with some difficulty spikes at times that made me feel like Santa Monica Studio made them specifically as a "fuck you" to the player. Still an enjoyable game and an absolute must for any GoW 1 enjoyers.
