Capcom evidently did not care much to do Mega Man X3. They outsourced it to Minakuchi Engineering and the end result is a hollow husk of the original game. Everything that made X2 a weaker installment than the first is pretty much twice as bad. It doesn't really leave much new to say, just imagine Mega Man X if it was middling and tedious and you have Mega Man X3. The music is very funny, though. I don't know what the hell happened there.

The bosses are amusingly trivial when done in the correct order, I suppose that's one more thing of note. Usually I would dock this against it but it's both really fucking funny and honestly a bit of a relief from the nothingness provided by the rest of the game.
