Threw this back on to do Casshern combos (Friender restand: very fun). One of the best things to come out of the immediate post-SFIV period, it's bright, got a great roster, and despite it being a relatively more simplistic game than MvC3 it's no slouch at all in terms of letting you do Cool Shit and also Cool Bullshit. Completely criminal that it's going to forever languish on the Wii, completely absurd that it was exclusive to begin with. "Mega Crash" is one of the coolest mechanic names ever. Please watch any fight scene from the Hurricane Polymar show for a good time!

Gameplay: Great
Story: Great
Controls: Great
Graphics: Great (for its time)
Length: Great

Played this with my neighbor, he had the cool gun attachments too so it felt like a real arcade experience! Good times.

Warlock’s Tower

Warlock’s Tower is a charming “retro” style puzzle game. The player controls a Postman, guiding him through obstacle filled rooms inside of a tower in order to help him deliver a letter to an “evil” wizard. The game follows a simple overarching rule, every step the player takes drains the postman of his life.

The levels are incredibly fun and get progressively more challenging. The mechanics are easy to learn but hard to master.

Warlock’s Tower is a nostalgic experience for fans of old school pixel art/8-Bit style of games. A great game that deserves more recognition.

Played on: Xbox Series X
Review Score: 4/5

people go "ugh shovel knight is so overrated ughhh" and go play games called "gerald mcboingboing shits himself at the fair" from gamejolt

Lit af soundtrack, definitively 2000's vibes over here. Also its even goated for me since it includes Spineshank & Static x on the soundtrack lmfao
