- Someone called this game a walking sim and that help me appreciated this game. Cuz at first, it seems like it could be a 2d platformer but no, it is all about holding right and strumming through beautiful alien scenescape.
- Lovely story about artistic self-growth and forming your own identity.
- Jamming isn't that fun, it's just basically Simon says.

- I like the concept. The idea of a musical playful experience to evoke all the emotion and sensation that food can carry.
- In reality, I just ended up spamming the buttons and filling the screen with clone of food items. Each food episode kinda feel like a shallow toy that I quickly hit the experimentation limit.
- My experience peaked with building a sky-high hamburger. Meat grinding level was cool, too.

- Unlocking stuff is fun. Trying to see what the upgraded weapon is a fun discovery. And other surprising stuff.
- My strategy is focusing on buffing my attack and upgrading my pickup. I ignore defense and hope I dodge accordingly.
- But in the end, it is very simple game with simple joy.

- Played it on the original N64 back when it was released. Replayed it on the Switch.
- Still love the world and the characters. Having toads with different appearances and clothing from each others make a huge different. Love searching for any changes in the world after finishing a world. Always checking with Goombario after entering a new area.
- Wish I could equip more badges. After awhile, I just kinda stick with a badge set that I like. A new companion makes a huge different compared to getting some badges.

2020

- Game getting removed from PS Plus library in March 2024. I'm not going to beat it in time and I'm not going to buy it.
- I admire the story which is about a couple being a couple. Not about people falling in love. Would love to see more games tackle this.
- I don't quite get the gameplay. It seems simple but I feel like I'm losing too much health.

- Getting removed from PS Plus library in March 2024. Was hoping to finish it before that but I gave up. And I don't think I will buy this.
- HowLongToBeat website said this take 40 hr to beat. From what I played, I'm not sure if the gameplay can sustain 40 hr.
- Amazing music. Really cool to visit Shibuya in real life and see the inspiration.

- Start off like a BoTW style game but there this whole possession mechanic that you unlock which allow some amazing traversal.
- Setting is inspired by New Caledonia which is unique. Did a good job of making it more just another tropical island. I want to play more games like this that highlight another actual culture.
- Brutal story. People will die in this kid story.
- I 100% the game including trophies.

- Zelda mixed with dungeon crawler.
- I like unlocking forms and learning what their abilities are. The variety of forms is great. You get classic tropes such as ranger and rogue but also goofy one like magician and bodybuilder. The monk is OP.
- You later gain the ability to mix and match abilities and this open the game so much. It's fun to find the synergy between different abilities.
- I also like leveling system. Protagonist levels up via achievements and so the achievements push me to experiment with the abilities. Some dungeons and quests also have conditions which encourage abilities mixing.

- Nonsensical story but the themed doors are cool. I like the horror ones.
- Variety of activities. Some of these aren't puzzle but more like reflexes or dextrality. I think its funny it have an osu minigame.
- I like escape rooms and puzzle boxes so I'm pretty happy with this.
- User-friendly. Missed a collectable? Just go back, find it, and exit back to main menu. Nothing excessive or misleading to cause a roadblock.

- Really fun and gripping walking simulator. It is a sci-fi story that hit the theme of AI, space, and corporation. But it is also very human story where I got attached to the crew that I was investigating. This crew that is just trying to survive this future.
- The way that AR is used to help dissect scenes is really cool.

- Weird aesthetic. Like dreamlike or Dadaism.
- Great writing. Love listening to conversation between NPCs.
- The hotel feels like a metaphor for something. But the dialogue itself is thought-provoking about creativity and career.
- Not sure if this game is actually great but I think this game will be on my mind for awhile and that counts for something.

Appreciate what the game is doing. Tight indoor spaces, item management, and unkillable enemy create a strong sense of dread. Don't think I am use to this so I just gonna move on for now.

- Chill game. I personally put on some music albums to listen.
- I kinda get motion sickness so I slow the game down a bit.
- The replay video at the end is satisfying, be nice to have more control over that though.

- Pikmin but instead of being a strategy game, it is a collectathon 3D platformer.
- Main character can glide really far by the end of the game. It is a really open platformer.
- The world is really cool. Basically a house occupies by bugs. Each species have their role, hierarchy, and culture. And of course that come with conflicts.
