I'd say that this is a harmless little version of Sonic Generations. Short, but sweet, in spite of some small missed opportunities, especially when it comes to putting more stages from Sonic's handheld history, instead of mainly doing other stages from games that were already represented in the console version.

Also, the fact that it's a full 2D game, when they could've put Modern Sonic in a 3D setting, now that we're on the 3DS and not the DS, is also disappointing.

There's plenty of replay value here, not only with the missions to unlock extra stuff, but also getting an S Rank here is harder than in the console version, so you have more of a challenge.

But yeah, in spite of some disappointing aspects, it's a solid game.

i dont really remember anything about this game but my older brother beat me in a game once when i was like 8 and i started crying so thats pretty funny

At first it was goated, then it was shit, now it's just pretty good. The one constant this game has always had, no matter how dogwater the game itself may have gotten, is that it's very very fun to play with friends.

Most unnecessarily stupid fucking hard game ever, and I love it for that

The most innovative shooter I've played in years!

great gameplay aspects, everything else is so bad it's funny

C'mon, folks. It ain't bad at all. I love the writing of this game so much and the gameplay is "KH Chain of Memories, but turn-based and with cards to color" with the classic Mario RPG timing mechanics. On paper (hah) sounds weird and atypical as hell, but it's a ok/fun gameplay overall.

super simple, and super fun. Draw, color, play some minigames, make songs, it's as much of a game as it is a tool to let your imagination out
