It feels like tech demo and has some things done to it to be a game but in the end it is not enough to make it any good.
It falls on design as I see there was some work to make it good (but still... it is not good).

It had some cool tracks but game generally was bad. Enjoyed it but it wasn't good.

Best racing game until N.Tro Fueled.

Simple, sometimes feel unfinished yet still fun game. It has some design flaws and bugs. I can recommend this but do not force it :P

Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy X are the best games I every palyed. Both are my top two games, can't say which is better, even though FF X has many flaws and Chrono Tigger has NO FLAWS I think being greatest game is something more then just + and -.

This game has the great main plot, perfect characters, one of the best design of the maps, memorable locations and monsters, the best additional content made in RPGs ever - it is so good it explodes my mind at point of discovery. If you did not play it and thinking about it... play it as your next game. You will not regret it if you like 2d jrpgs. After you defeat final boss, come back to you save and do additional content, it is like game still progressing forward, backward and sideways.

A do not forget about music! At some point in my life i realized 50% of game is music. CT does not disappointing at this. It is one of the best in the industry.

Plot of this game is so hidden and over the top! I love it, damn it is so convoluted but I love it. Only thing I do not like is plot dump at the end, when some of these stuff could be dropped while plot is going on, not just by 1 npc at end of the game. It feels like Xenogears CD2, but Xeno CD 2 did it better.
I am such a Chrono fan. So much things from Chrono Trigger connects by thin threads than can only be understood by fans. If you do not know Chrono Trigger game won't be worse but if you know CT stuff CC will be deeper. Played it in 2020 and still think it is great game. Branching events have impact on who will be in your party. Doing something in Chrono Cross makes you feel that what you do has consequences. It is not perfect but novelty even in 2020 launches this game far above many other titles.

I do not remember completing it but I had a lot of a great time with it. Mixing dragons, tactical combat. It is something I could play again in the future :)

I "Mastered" it but did not do platinum relics.
Tight designed and great progress flow.
1st time you play levels it is just for completion
2nd/3rd you do it for box GEMS or colored GEMS.
4th you do it for Time Relics. If you just want to complete game you do it for regular blue, if you like challenge you do it for gold, if you are N.Sane you do it for platinum.
Music is funky, chill out and great. It is unique and I love it. Remastered version keeps the climate of old and give it great overhaul. Game play is kept same so it losses nothing. Crash is best mascot and best platformer thanks to great restriction and set standards of what you can and cannot do. My favorite plat-former.

If Spyro 1 and 3 were as good as 2 I would give it 5 stars.

This game is what i thought all Mario games are. It is superb and really good. One nitpick I have is adding challenge gauntlet at end which I never do in platformers. Challenge in game is cranked up so far for last 2 tasks of bonus content i just leaves you with the bitter taste. I love platforming but I hate when it is at that level. Same as in 3D world. Great game. Play it! For me I mastered it, but in reality I did not do last 2 tasks of bonus content.

If you played FF V without using all of the classes because you think classes like dancer, singer or geomancer are bad I have story for you. I played through FF V two times, once using strongest classes and on 2nd play through I have used them all. It not only made game more fun I also showed me that there was a lot of thought put into all of them. Some of them might cause some random uncontrollable effects that might be hard to predict but often help in battle or do a lot of damage. Classes like dancer for example can equip ribbon, which is super useful and can be learned and latter used with other jobs. FF V is the game in which I had most fun with class/job system every in history of gaming. All of them bring something to the table and even if it happens by some stretch of imagination to not be good you can always treat it as challenge or a situation in which you need to win with added constraints for fun, but as I said before - they all have their niches and uniqueness with great use in specific situation. You can always go boring way and go with some meta setup, but you could also play FF I with 4 warriors. You can do it, but is it fun? Maybe for power trip or easy mode w/e. I mean have your fun and play your way. That was a lot about jobs - but FF V is jobs. Plot of the game and game play revolves around it.
This game also has a plot, sometimes things are silly here, but whole motive of splitting two worlds and sealing great evil in rift between worlds and later combination of both worlds to one and going for the kill for X-DEATH is so mind blowing that me playing it for the first time was destroyed just by this concept.
I like my reviews spoiler free but for this one I marked with spoiler warning because I just can't shut about it.
Because of games like FF V and FF VI, FF X and Chrono Trigger - I started MY journey to discover other RPGs. It made me play Seiken Densetsu series, Pokémon, other Final Fantasies, Lost Odyssey and so on. It is because of GEMS like FF V. I do not remember what was first played by me but FF V was one of first.
I completed all stuff from ADVANCED version. Jobs were epic, additional dungeons were OK. Nothing that broke my mind, but it was fun enough and did not overstay its welcome.
I advise you to have fun with FF V if you haven't yet and if you ever have chance to free thief/wolf from the prison do not free him. He will steal stuff from many dungeons and you will never get it. You do not have to thank me :)

I have completed base stuff of FFIV and advanced content. As first thing let me say that additional Advanced content is better than FF I, FFV and definitely FFVI, on the level of FFII. You actually get a story in Advanced version and story is what I like the most about FF IV. Maybe it is SNES level graphics but if it got AAA treatment it would be one of the best stories of FF series. It is deep, unexpected and all makes sense. It reminds me of FFIX in a lot of ways :). I love when RPGs slowly reveal truth about pathetic fights of mare earth dwellers are just tiny part of bigger plot with ancient, evils fallen civilisations etc. FF IX has some of it.
Dungeons in FF IV are still mazy like in FF II but little less, without damn trap rooms.
Characters all great and well written. You can always predict how character will act, but never what will happened to them and this is how I feel it should be. On the other hand antagonists are compelling and understandable.
Battles often are without mercy and some grind is required. All characters have their class and function and some are better – I mean there are major differences in power level. I like only because there is often not much choice for picking as you get set of characters you have to use. You need to play your best and worst cards to win. No one is OP.
It is not one of the best games I have played but it is close. It does a lot of things very well.

Two stars means that I played it but you shouldn't and Final Fantasy II is a game that I would not say to my friend that it was great and you should play it.
PSP version has nice graphics but FF II is still FF II.
I would only advise to play it if you want to complete all Final Fantasy games. Plot is nice with some twist and turns. I love main antagonist just for his pure greed of power and no mercy for anyone. It feels like many people that receive some power if real life act just the same, so I like authentic factor of this story.
What is worst about this FF? Mazes and trap rooms, no balance when it comes to level of monsters progression that makes you grind and I do not mind grind I just do not mind when you come to new area where you should go and you get 1hkoed without saving for some time for no real good reason.
Ahh mazes.. locations in game like dungeons mines and ships looks like some people just randomly placed walls in maze shape for no reason. I understand if it is Labyrinth but not in efficient mines and ships. Gosh.
Trap rooms... On your journeys multiple times you will encounter sets of 8-6 rooms or just random rooms that exist for no reason and if you go to such rooms you will get teleported into middle of the room with encounter rate for battles 1-2 steps and you will have to go to the exist to check another door because one of doors leads to moving plot forward.
As locations have no rhyme or reason every room in the game is possibly trap room, so you will never know where to go and just waste your life.
I would give this game half star because of just how horrible design of most of the things are here, but plot is nice, characters are likeable there are cool locations and I am all about the world in games (not all locations are stupid mazes), so I am giving it 2 stars, which is warning for everyone. Do not play it if you don't have to.
If you want to punish someone for something and you are able to give this game as punishment to finish it would be best thing in the world xD

It is bad, but has some positive values - not redeeming thought.

This is about Final Fantasy I
For so simple game it is surprisingly fun. I solved everything myself apart from this stupid levistone. It was too cryptic. It was one hell of a journey but I really liked it. Ps 1 version was very nice. I love looping plot of this FF without going into major spoilers. Yeah, when I think about it FF1 is really good! My Warrior, Red Mage, Monk and Thief!
