Reviewing the demo, which is why I am not giving it a score at the moment.
Controls get a good while to get used to (I played it with keyboard + mouse so maybe that's on me) but otherwise a good time!, really nails down the 2000s internet looks that I am pretty nostalgic for. Can't wait for the full release.

flappy bird but with extra bullshit. trying to score a single point on your first play is balls hard and when you think you are getting far enough the game will laugh at you and add an extra obstacle that's even harder to get through.
you can unlock extra characters by earning medals and accumulating points but most from what i got didn't play all that differently and i dunno if i am earning anything past the bronze medal.
it looks nice, the small cutscenes when you play a character for the first time are kinda charming, and it is certainly addictive, but at what cost really.
