Unfortunately, this is probably the best yugioh sim ever made. Great accessibility, easy to pick up and fun to mess around in. However, this all comes at the cost of the gacha system - extremely hard to get cards you need consistently and can be hard to build multiple decks you want to use for this reason. The crafting system is excellent but you'll typically find yourself lacking SR and UR points pretty frequently. I've found it's best to plan around building a specific deck you'd like to play with for a good period (espc if you are F2P) so you have some consistency.
That being said, this game is also surprisingly free to play friendly as long as you're not itching to make multiple meta decks. While i can sympathize with new/returning players logging on, running into kashtira/vanquish soul/purrely, etc. getting chained into oblivion and getting frustrated with how much the game has changed, this remains the best way to experience a yugioh sim and i appreciate how it's let people (including myself) reignite their interest in the series.
As improvements, I would like to see the game's card base updated more frequently (as many others have brought up) as we're missing a lot of recent staples, and would like gems to be more frequent, which would fix some of the issues with the gacha system.

I honestly was expecting this to be a crappy wiiware game to tie-in with let's tap, seeing as the games have cross-save compatibility, but I was actually rather pleasantly surprised by this game. This game consists of you playing catch with various characters. That's it. The gameplay loop involves you flickin the wiimote to throw and timing an A and B press to catch properly. There's actually an amount of focus you have to put into the game to score well, as you only have a limited number of throws that can be expanded by perfectly timing your button press or perfectly throwing the ball to your partner, so it's not an entirely braindead game despite the extremely basic premise. However, the actual core gameplay loop is not at all whatsoever where the substance of this game lies. Catch is a social game played with another person, so each of the various characters has things to say to you about their life as you play, and each character has their own unique woes that I genuinely got invested in, and the game doesn't shy away from more heavy topics such as dealing with loss or heartbreak. Considering the fact that this is a wiiware title, there's not really any way to legitimately play this anymore, but if you know how to load it on your wii regardless, I'd definitely suggest giving this a try. I mostly played this due to the co-relation to its sister game, let's tap, and honestly this game has significantly more heart put into it than that to the point where I'd say it's personally completely overshadowed it, which is funny considering this is the budget wiiware game and not the retail physical game.

Fungus? More like fungame am I right or am I right? (a bullet passes clean through my skull from 1km away)

Holy smokes. What a game. No other Batman game could ever even try to reach this masterpiece. Whoever hasn't gotten to enjoy roaming the streets of Gotham in this one I STRONGLY suggest that you do.

had cool moments but like this game genuinely has one of the worst plot twists for no reason other than shock value. I wouldve preferred if the main story was between was connor and markus to flesh those stories out a little bit more especially because they intertwine often, and leave the kara storyline as a dlc to flesh out that dynamic a bit more becuase it had a lot of potential but was wasted in my opinion becuase of that twist.

Jackie baby yes keep putting me second.

This game evokes feelings that I have never seen any game come close to evoking, and for that alone it is worth playing.

I really enjoyed this game. It uses the fact that it is on your phone in a way that is quite unique and provides an incredibly compelling experience. It is just like actually using a dating app. Sadly I found the actual dates were often a letdown. The game has a clear perspective on dating apps and it isn't necessarily one I agree with, but I think it's impressive that I engaged that deeply with a game that looks so simple on the surface.

One of the more fascinating games I’ve played in some time, really don’t think it’d hit right on anything but phone - made me uncomfortable and nervous and confused and weary and hopeful, that melange of shitty dating scene feelings punctuated by intermittent adrenaline. The writing was all good and distinct between different potential partners, could’ve been really easy to break the spell of the thing if not. So few games cover this ground with any subtlety, was a breath of fresh air I didn’t know I needed.

Also I accidentally ended the game not realizing that’s what I was doing by getting into a relationship, but you know what that’s pretty true-to-life. 🙃
